Grape variety: 100%  albariño. Controlled production and limited to a performance of 2.5 kg of grapes per stump.
Alcohol by volume: 13% vol.
Aging: 5% in French and American oak barrels for 2 months (maximum age barrels: 2-3 years). 95% in stainless steel tank with maceration on own grounds for 4 months.

Beira Aral has some 3 ha of vineyards in San Xoán of Barcela, in Arbo (Galicia), located on small lands with vine training as the main system. We mainly cultivate Albariño grape and a bit of Loureira grape. The first one, in small bunches, is a fruit with a high level of sugar and acidity that gives a great freshness to the wines. After the harvest, we take only the tear must from the first pressings, using, for its fermentation in stainless steel tanks, local yeasts of the variety. Later, a part of the wine is transferred to French oak barrels where we perform a daily batonnage on its fine grounds while another part of the wine is induced to a malolactic fermentation. After these two processes, the wine will be re-joined for the definitive Celeirós de Barcela.
